NCS is a branch of the government intended to help those in need to find the resources they need through recognized charities in Kaldus. They will also be familiar with any government programs that they will qualify for. With that said, this service will be invaluable when it is needed. NCS will be able to serve households of 1 or households of 10. The goal is to find and coordinate needs with resources. This makes it easier for those that are in distress to get the help they need. This is vastly different from other countries that may not have these resources offered.
NCS is located in the same county as Capita City. This makes the central county very government focused, and with NCS, it just makes sense for it to be located here. NCS will require that they know your physical address to provide the services the person needs. If they are homeless, then NCS might have Single Room Occupancies (SRO) which will be available for a small cost. The goal will be to move out of the SRO, and into a nicer and larger apartment. SROs are exclusively ran by NCS to eliminate the slum lord issue that would prey on those that needs help the most.
Since everyone has GBI, they will likely be able to acquire a basic smartphone, and service. From there, they will be able to get a data plan with their phone, and can use that to get their email on their phone. While not a perfect solution, it is better than nothing. If a smartphone is not an option, any computer should work for the consumer. They will either use their email client, or go to the web interface for their email. If the person in need does not have a computer, then they can use the library’s resource. The library will support printing of pages for a small cost.
There will be 2 ways to receive a listing of the resources available. The NCS operator will not relay the assistance options by phone. The goal will be to get what the information needed, hang up, look up the information, and send it to the person in need via email or fax. Acquiring an email address will be simple. The person’s ISP may offer a free email account for their customers. Those in school will have a free edu.ka address. Even if those two options are not available, anyone willing to have an Ka-Tel account will be able to acquire a free mail.ka address. In either instance, the person’s NIN is their UID, and they will select the password for the account credentials.
